These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, suppliers, customers, and/ or contributors of content.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. Account Information

The majority of the website is viewable without registration but visitors will need to register with the website in order to use some of the services or features made available. When you register, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.

By placing a purchase order on our website, you certify to be over 18 years old, or that you have reached the legal age required in the country of your residence to be allowed to purchase or consume alcohol and that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age and you agree not to do so.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we may complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

In a credit card transaction, it is preferred that you use your own credit card. We will not be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently will be on the user and the onus to ‘prove otherwise’ shall be exclusively on the user.

We will make the best of efforts to make sure all information on the website is up to date but we are not responsible if information made available on this site is not complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting additional sources of information.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site.

Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice.

Product and Service Policy

All prices on the website are quoted as Nett Singapore Dollars which means inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Upon placing an order, confirmation of your payment will be displayed on your screen after you make the payment, once the payment has been authorized and accepted. You can print this out as confirmation of your payment and acceptance of your order. Confirmation that your payment has been accepted will also be sent by e-mail.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any offers or services (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

How to Pay

We accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express payments via PayPal. Credit cards are always debited in Singapore Dollars. Please note that payment will be taken in full at the time of ordering. We are unable to process orders until cleared funds are received unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship to all locations within Singapore.

Shipping is free for all purchases over SGD$200.

For orders under SGD$200, shipping is charged at SGD$20

We provide next work day delivery with orders placed before noon being eligible for next day delivery. Orders placed after noon will be delivered one day later.

 

Return Policy and Order Cancellation

Goods once sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Once an order is processed it cannot be canceled nor changed.

Bottle Size

All bottles are 750ml unless otherwise indicated

Vintages

Vintages of wines are subject to change without prior notice. Information on current vintages may be obtained from our sales team by email at info@napoleon.sg.

Breakages

All orders are ensured in good condition before delivery. Customers are advised to inspect the goods at the time of delivery and advise us immediately should be there be any defects, discrepancies in quantity or items delivered, and/or breakages. 

Complaints

In the rare event that a wine is considered faulty, please return the bottle to us within 24 hours of receipt for our examination. No refund will be made for bottles returned after this time.

We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

The entire contents of this website, including but not limited to: text, graphics, logos, button icons, videos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, are the property of Napoleon, its collaborators, or its clients and are protected by domestic and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any portion of the website contents without the prior expressed written consent of Napoleon.

You may print or download portions of the materials from various areas of this website solely for your own non-commercial use provided that you agree not to change or delete any copyright or proprietary notices from the materials and that you abide by the Creative Commons License. If you believe any content appearing on our website constitutes a copyright infringement of another parties rights, please contact us immediately at support@napoleon.com to notify us of this infringement.

Events Outside of Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

(a) Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action.
(b) Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.
(c) Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other
Natural disaster
(d) Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
(e) Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.
(f) The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period.  We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

You hereby indemnify Napoleon and undertake to keep Napoleon and our partners, officers, directors, agents, service providers, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions or the documents they incorporate by reference or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

Waiver

The failure of Napoleon to exercise or delay in exercising any right, power or privilege under this Agreement shall not operate as a waiver; nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power or privilege preclude any other or further exercise thereof.

A party’s waiver of any breach, default or right under this Agreement must be in writing and signed by the party against whom the waiver is being enforced. Any such waiver shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach, default or right, whether of the same nature or otherwise.

Severability

If any term or other provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid, illegal or incapable of being enforced by any rule or law, or public policy, all other conditions, and provisions of this Agreement shall nevertheless remain in full force and effect.

Conflict

Where any conflict or contradiction appears between the provisions of these website terms and conditions and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies or notices, the other relevant terms, and conditions, policies or notices which relate specifically to a particular section of the website or service offered shall prevail.
